In our seventh Mark's Mysteries podcast we have a teaser from a future series we are working on followed by an update. The update brings everyone up to speed on what I am doing with the next 12 full length Jason podcasts.

This podcast is  Mark Harmon 2008. It is based on the fantasy world designed by Susan Van Camp and her RPG Dragon Storm. We have musical assistance from Greg Tribble and friends in this one.

I want to invite everyone to go to the new website at http://www.marksmysteries.com for more information on this, and other, podcasts I am doing.

Mark's Mystery 0-06 Galan's Interview

Here is our sixth Mark's Mystery Podcast. This time we have a short piece on Galan, our merc from earlier in the stories, interviewing for a job. It gives you a bit of background on the fantasy world of Susan's.

I am going to take a break from these, a couple of months, and start a real Season One of the stories. I think I have learned enough to be able to sit back and decide what I want to do and how I can improve these stories. I have a small pile of half baked stories to work on. I also need to rerecord the first episode and clean up the sound. I also need to create scripts for these podcasts that are up here. (um, ooops, I suppose it should be a secret, but everytime I record these I make changes as I record the shows, so my notes are wrong.) Then I can do some kind of book for the Beta Season.

I am seeing the concepts of entertainment and story telling combining old verbal traditions, old radio and todays entertainment. It is truly fascinating to watch it all happen. It really is an amazing time to be around this world. Now if I can just work out exactly how one makes a living at this.

Mark's Mysteries 0-05, Still Not Her Man Part 2 of 2

Mark's Mysteries Podcast 005. Not Her Man, Part 2 of 2.

The story comes from the mind of Mark Harmon and is based on the fantasy world created by Susan Van Camp. This podcast is  Mark Harmon 2007.
In this story Jason must confront an enemy who is neither nice, nor even pretty. We learn more about Jason, Shamanism and even the world. In the end, of course, there are still questions for later.

Susan has begun working on doing a comic of these podcasts. She will have her own perspective, so I don't expect those books to precisely match the stories. That will make it more entertaining I'm sure.

And keep those comments coming! I do read my e-mails, even if I'm just a bit slow in responding.

This is the third episode in the Mark's Mysteries podcasts. We call it "Not Her Man". The voices are by Mark Harmon as is the story. The music and sound effects are by Greg Tribble. The art comes from Susan Van Camp.
This episode is a bit shorter than the first two, but that is one of the advantages of the podcast formats. I'm working on the fourth episode, but it may be tough getting it done on time. We have a long roadtrip in May. We will be in Detroit, MI (Detroit Comic Con). Columbus, OH (Marcon) and Dallas Texas on June 1st (Project A-Kon).

I am listening to your e-mail comments and will be including improvements as we learn how to do these, and what you like!

Hope you enjoy this one. I know I'm having fun working on these.
